Retail Sales Associate

birddogs is looking for the drive and entrepreneurial spirit that is at the core of birddogs as we develop our Retail Team at The Mall At Short Hills. Our Sales Associates will gain valuable work experience, great exposure to birddogs' unique startup culture, and the opportunity to go through the pipeline of talent for the company.

What you'll do:

• birddogs Retail Sales Associates will be responsible for applying selling techniques and building strong relationships with all our customers. They are responsible for day-to-day activities including (but not limited to) customer interface, sales execution, inventory upkeep, and maintaining visual standards. We prioritize creating the most valuable and worthwhile experience for all of our employees, so Sales Associates have the opportunity to learn from and closely support birddogs leadership through projects and initiatives within the brick and mortar arena.

• Incredible communication skills, both verbal and written. We are looking for an individual who is eager to engage and connect with customers. Sales Associates are able to clearly express needs to management and effectively communicate with team members. They provide feedback on merchandising and in-store experience to help drive sales.

• A highly motivated and competent individual. Sales Associates have deep and extensive product knowledge that they can readily share with new and returning customers. They are proactive and possess a go-getter personality.

• A team player. At birddogs, collaboration, respect and support for your team is at the core of who we are.

• Excitement about the birddogs brand. Sales Associates are ambassadors of the brand. They are genuinely enthusiastic about what we're building, and exhibit passion for birddogs in all interactions with customers.

• Prior retail and sales experience strongly recommended.

• Knowledge of Shopify POS is a plus.

• There are openings for part-time and full-time positions in this role.

• Availability to work weekends and holidays when needed.

• Ability to lift, move around regularly, and stand for extended periods of time.
