birddogs is a growth stage men’s apparel brand nearing a $100m run rate. It has the highest awareness and Net Promotor Score of any men’s apparel brand launched in the last 25 years. With a recent expansion from DTC to omnichannel (direct retail, specialty retail, and national wholesale), the business has become more complex incredibly quickly. We are looking to bring in a seasoned leader that has seen this movie play out before in their prior executive experiences.
Role Specific Context
We’re closing in on a $100m run rate with a very strong emphasis on one channel. As we expand the aperture and begin to see the impacts of other channels like direct retail, specialty retail, and — most notably — national wholesale, birddogs is poised for dramatic and rapid growth.
This is an incredible opportunity to execute as a strategic financial leader. This individual will use their past experience working with consumer brands at a similar stage to provide financial guidance and insights to the executive team.

Report directly to the founder / CEO, Peter Baldwin.
Manage all essential financial aspects of company. Execute as the sole financial controller, oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), coordinate cash flow forecasting, oversee cost management, and maintain accurate financial records.
